The landscape strategy for this heavily wooded and sloped site containing two small buildings was organized around the principle of defining a legible, easily navigable path of circulation from the parking area, along the guest/ studio building, and toward the main residence. Topography, building proximity, building scale, and ease of maintenance were all factors that informed the design solution. |
